I've taught several youth programs with the Wrangell Mountains Center. Mountains Arts and Sciences for Youth are afternoon programs open to the community and the public. They are targeted for school aged youth.

Some workshops I've taught include

Creating a Community Field Guide - field sketching and botanical illustration project in which students collectively created a field guide to the flora of McCarthy

Insect Identification and Science Illustration - Introduction to insects and field study and collection. After students collected insects we learned about how to draw them accurately.

Creating a Community Mural - In 2016 I worked with MAY to host two workshops where local youth helped design and paint the mural on the McCarthy Mail Shack
